Jon Gordon
Prior to Co-Founding Universal Hydrogen, Jon was Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of United Technologies, overseeing all legal and regulatory matters for UTC’s Technology and Digital Groups, including United Technology Research Center. He has served as General Counsel of several aviation start-ups, including the luxury private airline Aero and the Airbus-backed on demand helicopter company Voom. He has represented Airbus, Airbus Defense and A^3 in several complex joint-development projects and also served as outside counsel to Berkshire Hathaway in several large-scale solar and wind projects. Jon began his legal career at Cravath, Swaine & Moore and was a senior M&A attorney at Wachtell Lipton. He received his BA and JD from the University of Chicago, was raised in the Pacific Northwest, and is an avid skier, mountain climber and cyclist.
